Welcome! This is me………..

Thank you for taking the time to visit my new website. I normally shy away from the technical side of the business and opt to outsource this work, however I really wanted to push myself into learning something new. So here it is……..tada!

It is still very much a work in progress but I am actually enjoying tinkering with it.

Anyway for those of you that want to put a face to the name, this is me.

As you can see, I am no selfie queen……I much prefer to be the other side of a camera!

I am just a normal Mummy to my three beautiful girls, Grace, Georgia and Darcey and Wife to my wonderful Husband, John.

One day nine almost years ago now, I decided to follow my dream and start my photography business. I was on maternity leave after having Georgia and although I knew that I had t return to my career as a recruitment manager, I was determined to use my time off wisely. This was the start of four years of ‘juggling’ photography, recruitment and mum life. At times I felt so overwhelmed and wondered if it was all worth it but I pushed myself along.

I was starting to receive great feedback and testimonials from my clients which gave me an amazing buzz!

Then I fell pregnant with little Darcey. With three children to consider, I knew that it would be impossible to continue ‘juggling’ everything. Whilst on maternity leave, I made the brave decision to bite the bullet and resign from my recruitment role to follow my passion.

I really haven’t looked back. My little business has grown from strength to strength and I am so proud. Don’t get me wrong, it hasn’t been easy. I have worked incredibly hard to make it a success, lots of hours spent on photoshoots, editing, training courses, sales & marketing and perfecting my craft, alongside being the best Mummy that I can be.

I absolute love what I do. I get to meet such lovely families, sometimes at the most special moments in their lives and I feel very lucky that they allow me to share these moments with them.

I am really looking forward to sharing a bit more of my life with you through this blog.
